According to a recent article in the Seattle Times, there is a buying frenzy going on across the Seattle Metro region spurred by fears of interest rate hikes during a Trump presidency.  The mortgage rate hikes are in response to government bond holders fear of inflation driven by overspending by the next administration.  Seattle condo prices are up 11.5% over the prior November 2015 prices. The median price of a Seattle condo now sits at $389,250.  This panic buying is shrinking an already small inventory of available homes for sale.
